How it all started...
Many would agree that Abaco is the most diversifying place in the Bahamas making this 2,009km.sq island such a beautiful place to call home.
However, opportunities have become little to none for the children of the island. This is why the Abaco Youth Baseball League was formed.
After seeing such a large amount of raw talent that the children possess, Mr. Troy Feaste, a resident of the island, used his experiences and the knowledge he gained over the years of playing and working in the sports industry, rose to the challenge and made a change. In 2019, he created the A.Y.B.L.
This program is a youth development program that is designed to teach the children the game of baseball. It will enable their eligabilty to recieve scholarships in and around the sport.
With the continued support and assistance from our coaches, parents and sponsors, the Abaco Youth Baseball League will mold the children of Abaco into better productive citizens who will make a valuable impact on the world.

The mission of the Abaco Youth Baseball League is to assist the youth of our community in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Sports are one of the greatest resources for our youth to learn many critical life skills. By advocating the virtues of character, courage, and loyalty, the Abaco Youth Baseball League program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.
